Pan Macmillan recognised as a 2024 Inspiring Workplace

The Inspiring Workplace awards recognise, celebrate and inspire organisations that prioritise a people-first experience.

Pan Macmillan was recognised as a top 50 Inspiring Workplace at yesterday evening's Inspiring Workplaces Awards UK & Ireland hosted at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

On top of this recognition, Pan Macmillan was awarded for Best in Class for Culture and Purpose.

By recognising, celebrating and inspiring organisations that prioritise a people-first experience, Inspiring Workplace aims to drive positive change in workplaces worldwide.

The Top 50 Inspiring Workplaces also included Aldi, Cielo, H&M, Hovis, SurveyMonkey and Total Fitness.

Unlike other awards which rely on completing a survey, entrants to the Inspiring Workplace Awards were asked to provide proof of their investment in people by completing the entry form consisting of the six key elements Inspiring Workplaces believes are fundamental to creating a people-first culture, and by extension an Inspiring Workplace. They were:

  • Culture and Purpose
  • Leadership
  • Wellbeing
  • Inclusion
  • Employee Voice
  • Employee Experience

Briony Grogan, Director of People and Culture said:

"I am so happy that Pan Macmillan has been announced as a finalist in the 2024 UK & Ireland Inspiring Workplaces Awards. Pan Mac is an incredible values-led organisation with a warm culture and a passion for literacy and reading for pleasure. I am very proud to be part of it."
